What Information We Collect
Stand Together Foundation collects two types of information from users: “Non-Personally Identifiable Information” (or “Non-PII) and “Personally Identifiable Information” (or “PII”). Non-PII is aggregated information, demographic information, IP addresses and any other information that does not reveal your specific identity. PII is information that identifies or can identify you as an individual (such as contact information like zip code, email address and demographic information), including if provided in response to our invitation to contact us.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information — When you visit and interact with the Site, Stand Together Foundation and third parties with whom we have contracted to provide services to us may collect Non-PII (for example, a catalog of the Site pages you visit). Non-PII is anonymous and does not identify you personally. Non-PII is generally collected through the Site from four different sources: Internet Protocol addresses and web logs; cookies; pixel tags and other similar technologies; and other Non-PII that you voluntarily provide.
Aggregate Information: Our Site is set up to collect and report aggregate information. Aggregate information is data we collect about the use of our Site or about a group or category of services or users, from which individual identities or other personal information has been removed. This Privacy Policy does not restrict what we can do with aggregate information.
Internet Protocol Address: We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you access the Internet. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement through our site, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the Site, and deliver customized, personalized content.
“Cookies”: Our Site may use cookies to enhance your experience while using our Site. Cookies are pieces of information are used for record-keeping purposes at many websites. Your browser probably accepts cookies, since they avoid duplication and help remember information. If you would prefer not to receive cookies, you can alter the configuration of your browser to refuse cookies. If you choose to have your browser refuse cookies, you may not be able to use some areas of our Site. We may also use “Web beacons” or “clear GIFs” which are small, invisible images that may be used on our Site or in emails relating to our Site to collect certain information about activity on our Site. In addition, when you view a video on our Sites, a third party may also set a “flash cookie” on your computer. Removing and rejecting browser cookies does not necessarily affect third party flash cookies used in connection with our Site. To delete or disable flash cookies, please visit https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/security for more information.
We and our service providers may also use Pixel Tags, web beacons clear GIFs or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) in connection with some Site pages and HTML-formatted email messages to, among other things, compile aggregate statistics about Site usage and response rates. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1×1), that is ordinarily not visible to Site visitors and may be associated with cookies on the visitors’ hard drives. Pixel Tags do not contain any PII and allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the Site, to deliver branded services, and to help determine the effectiveness of our promotional or advertising campaigns. When used in HTML-formatted email messages, Pixel Tags can tell the sender whether and when an email has been opened.
Information you voluntarily provide may also collect certain information (e.g., your geographical location). When such information is not combined with any PII, such information is considered to be Non-PII, as it does not personally identify you or any other user. Additionally, we may aggregate PII in a manner such that the end-product does not personally identify you or any other user of the Site, for example, by using PII to calculate the percentage of our users who have a particular telephone area code. Such aggregate information is considered Non-PII for purposes of this Policy.
You may use many features of this Site without providing any PII. However, our registration forms and certain other parts of our Site require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address, phone number, interests, and similar information. This is information you voluntarily give to us to register, create a profile, comment, share ideas, or otherwise use parts of our Site. By submitting personal information to us, you agree that we may use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Our Site may include links to other sites which do collect, use or store this type of information; be sure you review and agree with the privacy policies and terms of use for these other sites, as these may be different from our Privacy Policy.
